Timex Group B.V. T/A Mersey Manufacturers - Design & Manufacturer of fashion watches located in Tsimshatsui, is seeking candidate to fill a Systems Analyst position.
The successful candidate will be responsible to understand the business processes in Timex’s operations and support functions, as well as functional and technical aspects of the ERP system, so as to assist in process and system improvement to cope with business expansion. He/She will be involved in collecting user requirements, system analysis and design, system development and testing covering the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to streamline business process and operation
- Perform gap analysis and bridge between the ERP and business process
- Assist project manager to perform and complete assigned projects on time with quality and within budget
- Provide daily system support, troubleshooting and problem diagnosis on ERP and other IT applications
- Understand, design and document business requirements, functional specifications and technical specifications
- Conduct system test to ensure solutions are delivered with good quality and alignment with the requirements
- Be the gatekeeper for requirement transformation into final deliverables
Experience Required
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
- 3+ years hands on experience in VB.NET, VB COM, ASP, ASP.NET, PL/SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, VBA, DHTML, XML, Visual Studio
- Solid experience in RDBMS (Oracle 11g/MS SQL)
- Relevant experiences, preferably in Manufacturing background is an advantage
- Experience in Oracle e-Business suite application is a plus
- Good command of spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Good leadership, analytical, problem solving skills and able to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of Senior System Analyst
