Timex is seeking a National Account Manager to serve as the prime salesperson for National Accounts in the UK. This role will manage the relationships and develop new and existing sales opportunities for all customers outside of the independent jewelry market.
Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Selection and Ranging – Know the target consumer and the accounts that serve them and propose relevant products.
- Run reports and analyse sales and profit by account in order to drive increased sales.
- Review the ranges, analyse sales and propose range changes.
- Keeping the accounts up to date in terms of what is current and what is dropped whilst looking for opportunities to extend the ranges.
- Manage profitability in the national accounts by negotiating margins, contributions and discounts.
- Forecasting monthly sales and coordinating the sales teams’ forecasts.
- Work with Marketing to ensure all the latest POS, display and on-line graphics are in place.
- Work with Planning to ensure a smooth supply of product into national accounts.
- Assist Corporate team with UK range selection and gateway controls for new introductions.
Education:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience:
At least 5 years work experience either in Sales or the UK watch/jewelry industry
Skills:
Understanding of the watch industry in the UK
Sales experience preferred
