About the role:

My client based in Cape Town, requires a Bookkeeper to join their Cape Town based Operation. The successful candidate must be studying towards a BCom Degree or equivalent qualification as well as 2 - 3 Years relevant experience in a similar role.

Duties Include:

• Creating and distributing of invoices to intergroup entities

• Creating and processing of supplier invoices on accounting system

• Setting up of payments to third parties on bank system

• Reconciliation of certain accounts on a monthly basis

• Drafting of excel spreadsheets

• General administration duties in the finance department

Requirements:

• Grade 12 

• Studying towards a BCom or equivalent qualification

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, detail driven and deadline orientated

• MS Excel skills

• Managing work, planning and organizing with a high level of attention to detail

• To express potential through adaptability, initiating action, work standards and stress tolerance

• To interact effectively through communication

• Previous experience on Great Plains accounting package would be beneficial

• Previous experience on Standard Bank Business Online would be beneficial
